Guinness World Record Attempt - Longest Marathon Playing Bagpipes

The longest marathon playing bagpipes is 26 hr 5 min 32 sec and was achieved by Rikki Evans in Glasgow, UK, from 12 to 13 August 2015. From the 10 to 11 May 2018 Piper Andrew MacLennan will attempt to beat this record.

Andrew, will use his record attempt to raise money for three charities -

    1. Loch Ness Pipes & Drums - Andrew teaches piping at Drumnadrochit Piping Society. Funds raised would be used to buy equipment and matching uniform for the band. It can cost upwards of £1000 to kit out each playing member.
