Story
Emma Ruthven has been selected to represent Scotland at the World Championships in Santa Cruz, Tenerife, in October 2017. A tremendous achievement and reward for the total dedication and commitment shown by Emma to her sport.
Unfortunately the costs of representing her country is borne entirely by the athlete and is 100% "self funded". The total cost for Emma to attend these World Championships with the Scotland National Team, is in the region of £1100. Taking into account travel, accommodation, competition entry fees, transfers etc.
If anyone is in a position to help in any way it would be very much appreciated and would assist a young elite athlete progress on her karate journey, on a world stage.

7 years agoOnly four weeks to go til Emma jets off with the Scotland National Karate Squad, to take part in the WKF Junior World Karate Championships in Santa Cruz, Tenerife. Trips like these are all self-funded. Thanks to everyone, who so far have generously helped. There is still time to help an elite athlete represent her country at the very top of her game. Please see attached link. Many thanks.
