Story
As you may well be aware by now, Andrew had a fall at work on Monday 18th December and suffered severe head injuries that have left him unconscious and fighting for his life. The situation as it stands is that Andrew was admitted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and has had the necessary operations to allow decompression of his brain and is now in an induced coma resting and recovering from the initial trauma of the accident. Over the next few days the doctors will attempt to wake Andrew from his coma and only then will we know the extent of his injuries.
We ask that your thoughts and energy are sent out to Andrew DAILY to give him the collective strength he needs to battle his way back to full health and return to being the devoted and exemplary father, partner and provider to his family.
Anyone that knows Andrew knows he is incredibly caring and compassionate and has carried many of us in our times of need and now we must all come together to return the unconditional support Andrew has always shown to his family, his friends and his local community by making regular donations during his time of rest and recovery.
Andrew runs a family owned transport business with his partner Michelle which they rely upon to pay the rent and provide for their two children.
Naturally there will not be any income generated from the business for as long as Andrew is recovering from this accident so please contribute whatever you can to help support the family during these difficult times. Whether you can only afford £10 a week or £10,000 as a lump sum... it doesn't matter. It's the collective support that adds up and keeps the roof over their heads, the lights on at home, care for the boys, the cost of taxi's back and forth, the trucks in storage and so on.
God bless you all and give thanks for those you have around you this Christmas!
Andrews progress will be updated here so please check back regularly to stay up to date.
Thanks
Rory

6 years agoAndrew is now breathing on his own and his eyes are open although he currently has a vacant stare but this is huge progress. I just want to thank everyone for their support so far and ask that we continue to send Andrew our positive energy during his healing.

6 years agoAndrew has showed a positive response to the positive energy being directed towards him. In the past two days the pressure in his brain has dropped to normal levels and the doctors temporarily took him out of sedation to which Andrew showed positive signs by responding ever so slightly. He is back under sedation for the time being and still has a long way to go but Andrew is a fighter and your messages of love and support are the light that guides him back to good health. Thank you so much!
