Weʼve raised £2,825 to thank the Melton District Nurses

Funded on Tuesday, 22nd December 2020

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

Andrew's family would like to raise money for the Melton District Nurses who cared for him during the last few months of his life.

They showed care and compassion as he bravely battled with cancer and stayed at home to be with his family right up until his passing on August 15th 2020.

We would like to show our heartfelt gratitude to these dedicated and wonderful people who do a difficult job with humility and kindness day and night week after week always with a smile and in his case a good giggle along the way.

We have given all the nurses a share of the donations and have given some to the celebrant who did Andrew proud at the funeral. We wanted to make sure that those people who looked after him in his final days were rewarded and the funds did not get lost in the health system. We can't thank all of you enough for donating and showing such generosity to Andrew. Thank you and remember him always.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to Andrew's page. We are amazed by how much we have managed to raise to thank the nurses. We will be gifting the funds to the nurses this week and will post an update once we have contacted them. We know this is a cause that Andrew would have been very proud of, so thank you all once again.
