Weʼve raised £7,885 to cover funeral expenses & give Angus Johnson Cameron the send off he deserved. He died peacefully on Friday & left no funds for his funeral.

Funded on Monday, 20th December 2021

    Story

We hope to raise money so that we can give Angus the send off he deserves. Apart from a son, Ruari and former partner, Alison he has no immediate family. Angus was chair of Windsor Labour Party and a dedicated socialist all his life.

He loved music and The Clash, The Men They Couldnt Hang, Big Country, Primal Scream and Robb Johnson were his favourites.

Any funds left after arranging the funeral will be given to Windsor Homeless Project.

Please give generously and we thank you so much

Thank you all so much for your generous donations. On top of the £7810 raised here we got £340 in cash donations. We have added up all the costs of the funeral and we have £3500 left over to donate as follows - £500 will go towards planting some flowers in Windsor (since the council cut the budget and we can no longer have beautiful flowers) and £3000 will be donated to Windsor Homeless Project. The rest of the money went towards the funeral (plus Just Giving charged just over £300 in fees but it was so worth it to have this platform).

Thank you for your generous contributions - we now have enough for a funeral, to plant some flowers in Windsor in memorial and also a sizeable donation to Windsor Homeless Project. Thank you all so much. If anyone else still wants to donate please do so - you will have until 5th September.

Angus warmly welcomed me to my first meeting of Windsor Labour Party, which I will fondly remember. He will be greatly missed by Alison, his family and all those striving for a fairer world.
