Hi friends! My name is Anjali, I am 16 years old and am currently studying for my A levels. During the Christmas holidays I will be travelling to India with a charity organisation called Shishukunj which i have been a part of for over 9 years. Shishukunj in short is a non-profit organisation for the youth, run by the youth all over the world. Here in London we have 3 centres which run weekly activities and long term international projects. One of the key Shishukunj values is Sewa, to develop compassion and a selfless drive to help others. We also aim for the holistic development of all children, by providing activities that physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally and socially enriching.

On this trip we will be travelling to different schools and orphanages; delivering sessions such as; safe touch and unsafe touch, alcohol abuse and emotional maturity and social well-being, which are not openly talked about. Not only will we be giving something, we will be gaining a lifetime of knowledge and experiences. The funds raised aid in providing essential rescources that are not readily avaliable. Even £1 can make a huge difference to a child and any sized donation is greatly appreciated
