We started over 50 years ago Sparrow farm. It was realised in 1960 this was going to. Be a big Sparrow farm got together went to the local council with there plans which were passed they were granted a 99 committee was formed and fund raising began people went door to door collecting money this became known as a pound a brick in the 1960's fund raising events were started and a community was built this has grown now in what we are today supported by the community for ballet Scots browines youth clubs keep fit Boxing plattia Zumba hall partys hall holds 250 people. Ware a self non profit making organization all our profits from our social bar fund events go straight back in to the community hence a family can hire our hall at an affordable price we have in our social club darts team pool team senior citizen club all this is run by voulenteers from cleaning to organization of events we have live music events at weekends we need to raise money as LBH are taking us to court to end our lease which we still have 49 years remaining and we are contesting this. We have just completed our refurbishment help us save our community for our future and our children's future .
