Story
These guys are now 25 and for years I have been trying to get them back home. It's a 2 hour drive. A nightmare. They need to get home be with their own families/ their own communities.
But the Council have nothing/ they never have had. That's why they had to go elsewhere.
There are no life long plans for autism and these great guys.
But the Council have recently shown an interest in supporting us as parents to getting them home but we have a long way to go. We want these guys to have meaningful lives and we're tired and fed up of having so many people in officialdom doing things to us albeit with great intentions/ meaning well but enough.
I know this is the right time to get this project up and running
The My Home Trust.
There are about six guys that need to come home.
As someone once said
"We don't dream our lives we live them".
They need to live theirs

Raised a lot of funds over the years for a children's charity that still runs today. It started because I had nowhere to take my guys and it soon expanded. I together with some amazing family/parents/volunteers ran it for over 13 years as a volunteer. Still going strong today.
