Hi my name is Anna and I am working alongside Global Action to help build a school, sanitation facilities and support 6 charities in Nepal. I am going in Easter 2018 with 18 people with Godolphin School aged 16-17.

Your donation will go towards buying materials for the project and also in supporting these 6 other charities when we visit them: 1. The Gurka welfare Trust, where we are building earthquake resistant schools, providing clean water and sanitation systems and other essential medical support. 2. Practical Action, which provides the appropriate technology in poor communities in Nepal. 3. ICIMOD, who help remote villages in the mountains strengthen livelihoods and source water and food. 4. The Annapurna Conservation Area, which is Nepal's largest protected area, here we are learning about their efforts to protect the wildlife. 5. Kopan Buddhist Monastery, which houses 740 Tibentan refugee monks and nuns, there money goes directly to support orphanages and health clinics in remote mountain areas. 6. UKaid, where we will learn about how the government is reducing poverty and helping peole access health and education in Nepal.
