In July 2017, I will be travelling to Uganda, along with some of QEGS Sixth Form, to visit the Good Samaritan Primary School. It has been a tradition of QEGS for many years to go to this school and help out as much as we can - such as building classrooms and helping run classes. Our goal for this year to go build accomodation for the teachers, who earn less than £50 a month, so that they are able to live on the school site and not have to pay rent elsewhere. We will also try to improve the children dormitories whilst we are there. Most of the children at this school are orphans so having safe and clean rooms is really a necessity. All donations will be going towards the materials needed to build these dorms. Please give whatever you can. A small donation from you will significantly improve these children and adults lives.
