In 2011 Annie & James received the news that Annie had Stage 2B Cervical Cancer & following a course of Chemo, Radio & Brachy - therapy Annie would no longer be able to reproduce/carry their babies. They were extremely fortunate to be given a course of IVF Xmas Eve that same year & 2 weeks later they found out they had 44 eggs available for fertilising.
Annie underwent the next stage of IVF & after her eggs were harvested they were able to fertilise 24 of her eggs & Annie & James are now the proud parents of 24 frozen Embryos

Such was Annie's disease that she no longer has a functioning womb/Uterus so a Host Surrogate will be necessary if her & James are to complete their dream of becoming Parents -

The Swindon Storks have been born!

The Swindon Storks are a Fundraising Running Team made up of Annie & James, Annie's Brother's Jim & his Partner Lara, Zander & his Wife Emma, Dave their Brother-in-law, their Cousin Paul & close friends Amy, Lucia, Doug & Becca.

The Swindon Storks maiden flight will be the NEW Swindon Half Marathon 2017 & for the majority of them this will be the first time they have ran a Half Marathon with some individuals solely taking the challenge up for Annie & James' cause.
