To raise funds for the development of rugby at Annan Rugby, the folk that brought you the Longest Try and 24 Hour Touch Rugby fundraisers are back.

This time with The Big Cycle.

A large % of the target is being raised off-line with olde skool sponsorship forms, but we've embraced the new fangly inter-web with this online way of sponsoring/donating! :)

WHAT IS THE BIG CYCLE?

Senior players/coaches/supporters will be cycling around the rugby clubs of Dumfries and Galloway, while the P1's - U17's will be cycling round a track at Violetbank, all in aid of raising money for the development of rugby at Annan Rugby.

The adult cyclists will be starting at Wigtownshire Rugby club at 5am then onto the rugby clubs of Newton Stewart, Stewartry, Dumfries, Moffat, Langholm and then back to Annan and Violetbank - a distance of 172.2 miles (give or take a cm or 2!)

While at Violetbank, from 4pm, youth cyclists are invited to bring their bikes to cover as many miles as possible on a track being set up at Violetbank.

Every £ raised will be going back into Annan Rugby and for the coaching and development of rugby at Annan.
