Sickle Cell is a disorder of the red blood cells, whilst I have the sickle cell trait, there are many friends and family suffer the full effects and have died as a result.

Lupus is an incurable immune system, genetic in origin and mainly suffered by females, I lost a very dear friend to Lupus.

I am a trustee of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) Benevolent Fund. This fund offers practical assistance to members, former members and former employees suffering from extended ill health or disability or experiencing hardship during a prolonged period of unemployment.

Help me to meet the of £2,000 target which will be split between these charities which will assist those who suffer from an illness such as Sickle Cell or Lupus, and help to get someone back on their feet whether it be after an illness or unemployment.
