TeeJay is a young man with severe physical difficulties who will be leaving school in a year to start his adult life. He uses an "eye gaze" communication system in school, but he needs one of his own. He can move his eyes and blink to communicate and if you know him really well you can sometimes work out what he needs. Far better is when he is using the eye gaze computer- then he can look at the screen and it tracks his eye movements- he can say yes & no, and make choices about what he wants to do, what games he wants to play and can tell people if he is in pain. When he leaves school, if he has one of his own it will be his "voice" and show other people that he understands what is going on around him, explain what he wants or needs and that he has choices that he can make. He's a Swans & Chelsea football supporter & its important to him...he likes being involved with football....strictly come dancing isn't his thing!...its important he has choices he can make.
