With the run up to Christmas l want to show some collective festive good spirit and generosity for a good friend of mine. Rachel is a hardworking nurse and mum of two who finished her 13.5 hour shift at the Royal Berkshire Hospital last week to find her new bike stolen. Without nurses like Rachel the NHS would be in a much worse state than it is and l want to show that she deserves an early Christmas with a new bike and a better safety lock! Any money leftover will go to a charity close to Rachel's heart - Starlight. Starlight is a UK charity www.starlight.org.uk which grants wishes to seriously ill and terminally ill children If we all donate a few pounds this can make a positive difference and will show us that our community cares.
