I am going to Southern Tanzania in the summer off 2018 for two weeks to take part in a world challenge expedition. For example, I could potentially be building a school, digging water trenches/ water tanks, or assisting disadvantaged children in the community with there education whilst being appreciative of the local culture. I feel like this is a fantastic opportunity as it will have a life long impact on me as a person as it will help me with my confidence and will give me a chance to experience a life without my normal home comforts. I consider this to be a challenge but I will embrace it with open arms. I intend to raise funds by being involved in bag packing, car boot sales, car washes, bake sales baby sitting etc, but would greatly appreciate donations from my family and friends. No matter how large or small, every little helps. Thank you in anticipation.
