A close friend of mine has been diagnosed with cancer and has been fighting it for the past two years. Naturally like everyone does! You never think it's going to happen to you until you hear the dreaded news. I care enough about this person and his family to try and do something to help them in there time of financial need. I know this person has a big Heart and would do exactly the same for me or anyone who needed help. I am trying to raise money to help them with the financial burden that not been able to work has on us. Unfortunately he has had to stop work due to the harsh and aggressive chemotherapy that he is constantly having. Also his wife has lost her job after many years of service and only received a small amount of money when she was made redundant, now she is his full time carer and because of this she cannot work and be there for him. They have a mortgage and are struggling to keep up with the payments, due to this they may have to sell and move away from an area that they are known in. All there friends live in close proximity and help out as much as they can.. They need to remain in the area so they can continue to get the help and support from there close friends and family. Any money raised will be used to help them achieve this goal, as it would be very difficult on them if they had to move away or worse lose there home. Please find it in your hearts to give as much as you can spare, no matter how small an amount it will mean such alot to them. Please think carefully about how you would feel if you found yourself in these very difficult circumstances, and what it would mean to you to be able to stay where you were rather than having to move away. Each person who donates will be given updates on the progress of his treatment and there ongoing circumstances.
