Story

We are going to make a short film about aphasia.

This documentary film is about people with aphasia, made by people with aphasia.

Primarily, it is for BSc and MSc students who are training to be Speech and Language Therapists, but also for anyone who likes a story.

Deb has seven years of aphasia. She used to live in Warlingham which she loved. Then she had to move in with family but lives in West Sussex. She has a lovely summer house now. She wants to volunteer in a charity shop.

Chris has four years of aphasia. He used to live in London but now lives by the sea. He is going to start work at a university, one day a week. He can’t wait.

Paul had a stroke 3 years ago and now supports people with aphasia through coaching.

Could you help us? The Tavistock Trust for Aphasia has kindly agreed to match fundraising for us up to £900.
