UPDATE:06.05.2022

Firstly, we would like to thank every one of you for your support and donations throughout our efforts with the Ukraine appeal.

To keep you all updated, we have now received enough products for our second load and will not be accepting anymore donations.

We have been overwhelmed with the generosity people have shown and are proud of you all and our team for what we have achieved for a worthy cause. Especially as with this second load we have asked for specific items which in these current times is a big ask!

As before we will keep updated on our departure date and the journey on our social media platforms.

UPDATE: 28.04.2022

We have had a fantastic influx of donations so we are extending the cut off date to Monday 02nd May at 1800. This will allow us the Bank holiday weekend to sort through the items. Please note that our opening times are Saturday 0700 - 1300 Sunday closed and Monday 0700 -1800.

We will be sending another load soon and have been given a list of supplies required from the charity. Going forward we will be accepting donations of : torches, batteries, power banks, first aid kits, blankets/thermal blankets, personal care products, towels, food in cans/long life food products and nappies, wipes, baby food.

Our site opening times for donation drop offs are: 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday and 7am - 1pm on Saturdays.

We cannot thank you all enough for all your help and donations, we will keep everyone updated via our social media accounts.

UPDATE 17.03.22 THEY HAVE ARRIVED

Our boys have made it safely and are getting unloaded. All donations have been gratefully received, most of all the baby supplies, as soon as it was unloaded they were being provided to the hungry infants

Donation Update: 15th March 2022

Off they go!!

The wagon and van are full and the lads are ready to go. Thank you all for your donations and the volunteers for their help sorting through them all. We still can not believe the generosity. We will be sending more loads soon but we are putting donations on hold for the moment until we know our boys are there safe and they can tell us what is needed most. We will keep you updated on their progress. Thank you again x

Well folks, todays the day that we have all been working so hard towards, the support we have received with all your donations has been amazing, just seeing how the community has pulled together has been heart-warming. Be it monetary, time or supplies you are all providing such a support network for the people of Ukraine in this trying time. Our Artic curtain sider, van and trailer will be departing Bensite today to travel down to Dover for the ferry crossing to France, we aim to keep you updated on their route with the arrival date and time in Poland

Donation Update:

Thank you to everyone who has already donated, the response has been amazing. We anticipate to set off for Poland this Tuesday 15th March. We still have space to fill, the items we are currently short of are baby formula, food, animal feed and accessories, but still happy to accept other items. Please note that we are open for donations Sat 7-3pm, Sun 10-2pm and Mon 7-6pm. We hope that we would have reached our target by this point.

We are currently offering our Head Office as a drop off point for donations to be taken to Poland to support Ukraine. The surrounding community have been amazing with their donations and our staff are currently sorting through donated items such as clothes, bedding, toiletries, toys, shoes and first aid items. We have our Artic curtain sider due for dispatch early next week which will require fuel, any donations for this would be greatly received. All funds raised will be for fuel with any remaining amount being used to purchase items for Ukraine.

Thank you so much for you continued support , we have been blown away with everyone's generosity. We have a great system in place for sorting items into sections, these are then labelled, bagged and sealed ready for transportation.

The items we are short of are tinned foods, non perishable food, baby milk, baby food, sanitary products and animal feed/bedding.
