Story
I'm a bit sad because I've been neglected for a very long time and become overgrown, muddy, dark and untidy. I hardly see any daylight these days. Neighbours have ignored me and let me become a mess. Overgrown trees are cutting out the light to the houses.
I'd like to appeal to all the lovely people who could enjoy using me to get together in harmony to get me tidied up.
The Council is looking at whether they can be my adopted parents; I'm the only bit of public green space in this area and I'm an orphan. Nobody owns me! I've heard that some people have tried to claim me as their own; I don't want that. I belong to you all and I've been here much longer than any of you.
So please keep me tidy. Don't litter me. Just do some work together with community spirit to help to tidy me up by getting rid of weeds, brambles, junk and overgrown shrubs and help to clean me up and manage my trees so that you can all enjoy me.
The money you donate here will be used to repair my fences and gates, as well as the bench so you can enjoy me in comfort, as well as to buy some bulbs so that I can have flowers to help make me even more pretty and enjoyable for you all.
