We have had a webcam overlooking Arnside Pier for many years, firstly a cheap affair which did have some movement, then in 2017 I purchased a new dome camera, which was fully moveable with zoom. I was helped by the ArnsideVillage broadsheet and the Arnside Traders. Jamie Smith has provided the location and the wifi for the camera all these years.

The location of the camera, being so close to the see has affected the camera movement. The clarity of the picture is still very clear, but we can no longer move the camera to look down the bay.

The purchase of a new camera will greatly enhance the viewing pleasure for many interested people. We are hoping that interested people will help us purchase a new camera. The price we have negotiated with Camsecure comes with a handy discount.
