Story

Artemis is a beautiful 3 month old kitten with no mother. I found him alone on the streets of Heraklion, Crete and was told that he is "dead" because there is nobody to care for him.

Artemis has now had food, a bath (he wasn't too happy about this!) and has spent the night at a vets. He is looking a lot better but still needs somebody to foster or adopt him. He is a friendly, cuddly, curious creature and would make somebody a wonderful pet.
UPDATE: I am adopting Artemis and bring him to Scotland.

I am raising money to cover food, vet bills and transport costs (transportation cost will be £300). The wonderful Gouves Animal Shelter is currently caring for him but they are at full capacity, run only by volunteers and rely on donations.

Please donate whatever money you can to help give Artemis the chance to find his forever family. If we raise enough, we will be able to transport him over to Scotland and find him a new family there. Any other money we can raise, I will give to Gouves Animal Sanctuary to help the countless other cats and dogs without a home and in need of medical treatment.

Artemis arrived with his foster mummy yesterday, where he'll be staying until he comes to Scotland in January. I'm so grateful to Frederique for giving him a home while I am unable to. He might take a while to get used to his new family (very interested dogs!) but I'm sure they'll be best of friends in no time. Health wise, Artemis has put on some weight but still has a touch of cat flu. He also has a nasty injury to one claw so will be going to the vets to hopefully get that sorted out. Thank you again to all donator.

Thank you, everybody, for helping me raise £300! I will continue to raise money to cover the rest of Artemis' costs and if there is any spare I will donate it to Gouves Animal Shelter who are busy saving the lives of many many cats and dogs as we speak. They need help to pay for medical treatment, neutering, food etc.. Artemis will be going to his new foster mummy on Monday or Tuesday. Then he will be flown to Scotland to come live with me. 😊 I am looking for an escorts to fly with Artemis from Crete to Scotland in late December or January.
