New Year's Day Triathlon

This event had been planned to raise money towards the new commission of a work by Eleanor Alberga to be performed by MCO. With the recent success of the Return to Life Charity concerts, with members of MCO, it was decided to share the fund raising with a contribution to the Return to Life Charity

The event comprises:

8 lengths of the Commonwealth Pool (swim)

Eileen Burke.

3 circuits of Arthurs Seat (cycle) About 13 miles

David Rimer

1 circuit of Arthur's seat (run) About 4 miles

There are about 400 competitors, including about 12 relay teams of which we are one.

In the relay, 3 people take part, each person doing one of the categories.

Half will go to help fund a new commission from Eleanor Alberga to be performed by the MCO.

Half will go to Return to Life SCIO
