I will be cutting 13 inches of my hair off to donate to The Little Princesses Trust and using the money raised to donate towards funding a Memorial Bench and Tree for Vanessa Moss to be placed in Regents Park, where she spent her childhood.

For two years I have been following the journey of a little girl called Vanessa Moss who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Cancer at the age of four. In September 2017 I went to Great Ormond St Hospital and I finally had the privilege of meeting her, I instantly fell in love with her! She was courageous, gentle, sassy, kind, loving and beautiful inside and out . We became friends straight away, I couldn't wait to see her again and have our girly sleepover. However, sadly the following week on September 7th, a couple of days before I was meant to see her Vanessa passed away at the age of 8 from an infection in her lungs that spread rapidly, given her immune suppression it just could not be managed. I didn't know Vanessa for long but I learnt so much from her in the short amount of time I did know her, She has given me a new meaning of life and i'll cherish the memories and funny videos/pictures I have of her forever. So now I am raising money to donate to the Parker family to fund a Memorial Bench and tree for vanessa which will be a place where everyone who loved her can go and visit. Hopefully If I raise enough money i'll also be able to donate to the Solving Kids Cancer Charity. All donations will be given to Neuroblastoma and Solid Tumour research at the Institute of Child Research, which is the research arm of Great Ormond Street Hospital. Funds will be collected by Solving Kids Cancer UK, which is a wonderful charity focussed on Vanessa's cancer, and which supported the Parker family tremendously during the last 5 years. So this fund will really make a difference to the development of new therapies that will finally put an end to these brutal diseases.

In addition to funding the Parker family in memory of their beautiful daughter Vanessa I am also raising money to donate my hair to the Little Princesses Trust. The Little Princesses Trust is an amazing charity that makes wigs for little girls with Cancer, I will be cutting my hair and donating it to the charity. I know that we shouldn't be defined by our hair or need it to make us feel beautiful, but if I can help a little girl in the process of her treatment to feel a tad more confident within her skin I want to help any way that I possibly can!!
