There are over 3,500 sleeping rough in the UK. In London alone there are over 400 people sleeping rough.The initial reasons for sleeping rough were parents/family/friends no longer willing to accomodate, loss of private dwelling and break up of relationships. Long term reasons were addiction and poverty.
Street Link was set up for members of the public to phone 0300 500 0914 so that rough sleepers would get immediate help, but it is very much underfunded.

My friend Suzanne and I are trying to raise at least £200 so we can buy blankets and food/water, so we can give them to the homeless, if they have to spend Christmas outside in the cold, at least they can stay warm.

Most of us are lucky to have a roof over our heads, some people are not so lucky.
So please give generously it's for a very good cause.
