Next week I will be climbing Adam's peak. It is the most sacred mountain in Sri Lanka. There is a temple at the top but before I can enter, I will have to climb 5660 steps, which will take about 3 hours, then a couple of hours to get back down.

The reason for doing this is because I am raising money for Millenium Elephant Foundation - a charity that tries to better the lives of captive elephants in Sri Lanka. The elephants here can never go back into the wild. MEF does amazing work here and we are continually trying to improve the lives of these elephants.

The money we raise will be used to build 2 tube wells in the Free Roaming Area that MEF have built, this allows the elephants to have free access to water and mud whilst they are in there.
