Hello everyone!

We are Avidity Events, we consist of five Events Management students who all attend Manchester Metropolitan University.

Our aim here is to create an amazing event for an incredible charity called 'Boomerang Multi Sensory Play Centre' who are based in Bury -:

"In 2006 Emma Birkett, a local mum was struggling to find somewhere suitable to take her daughter Ellie to play within the Bury area. Finding places to take children who have various complex learning difficulties to play has always been a problem. Emma got together with a group of parents and carers with disabled children from the Bury area , who were also struggling to find somewhere to take their children with various care needs. The lack of play facilities inspired Emma and the parents to create their own special place and "Boomerang" the Charity was formed. The parents aim was to provide all these specail children with their own unique sensory Centre. The Centre would give Ellie and all other children with any need or requirement a safe, stimulating play environment where they could grow and develop."
