Aston Women in Business are a student run society based at Aston University, Birmingham. Our mission is simple - connect, share and aspire. The idea that we create opportunities for our members to connect with leading industry professionals, who then share their experiences and opportunities, to enable everyone to aspire to achieve their full potential.

Our main aim is to empower and inspire our women, and this semester we are holding a Women's Ball to celebrate the achievement on Women all around the world on International Women's Day. It will be an inspirational evening aimed at addressing the issues in our society whilst raising money for our selected charity - Birmingham & Solihull Women's Aid.

Women's Aid supports women and children affected by domestic violence, rape and sexual assault. They work in close partnership with agencies such as housing and the police to ensure the best outcomes for women and their children. They provide a great deal of support from drop in services, to helplines, counselling, training and legal help. Without specialist support and a safe place to turn for help and advise, women and children stay in violent and dangerous situations. Support from local communities and businesses through donations is what keeps Women's Aid doing what they are doing.

Please help us to help these Women and Children! 100% of donations will be donated directly to Birmingham and Solihull Women's Aid.
