The staff of B7 are running the Cardiff half marathon in October to raise funds to improve patient experience. Our aim is to create a day room for our patients to relax in. We aim to reduce institutionalisation and increase autonomy for our patients. A day room would help us to create a space patients can go to to be away from the day to day tasks of the ward. This would help reduce stress and improve their general mood. Everyday we get asked if there is somewhere for the patients to relax and somewhere for them to watch the rugby. We would really like your help to create this day room for our patients.
