We are devastated to say that beautiful Marnie has lost her battle. She passed away on Wednesday 26th October at 10pm with her mum and dad at her side. The date also marks 2 months to the day that she was placed on the heart transplant list and was the same day that her petition was published online. Today is a good day! The petition, which calls for a change in the organ donation law, went over the minimum 10k signatures which are required to trigger a response from parliament. Thanks to comedian Karl Pilkington & hundreds of others for sharing and signing! On top of this, Marnie continues to hold her own, fighting strong. Furthermore, the quiz night & raffle draw which was held on Friday 30th September raised an amazing £1567.92! Everyone has been so generous donating whatever they can. Big & small...it all helps.
