MABs is a local charity where my mum lives who do amazing work supporting cancer patients and their families. They are currently suporting my mum through her cancer journey, providing the essentials such as transport, interpreters, counciling and much more!

6 years agoso it turns out that the 'pop' I felt in my calf at the gym last week is a torn gastronemius (calf). 2-6 weeks recovery & no physical activity. This is just a set back and means it'll take a little longer to get to my goal, but I WILL get there! Thanks for your continued support. I have donations to add that I've received directly so I've surpassed the sponsorship target. Mum's doing really well and had a good report back from her chemo session yesterday. If mum can fight cancer I can certainly fend off a measley calf tear! Xxx
