The Christie Charity is very close to the clubs hearts as a lot of our members have been touched by cancer in some way, and the sad truth is that many more will have to experience it in the future.
Each and every pound you give makes a real difference to our patients, their families and friends.
The Christie charity raises money for a range of projects and initiatives focusing on 4 main areas, research, care and treatment, education and extra patient services. All of which are above and beyond what the NHS provide enabling us to give our patients the best care and treatment possible.
Your donations really do have an impact at The Christie. Without the support of our fantastic fundraisers we would not be able to give our patients and their families the level of care and support that we do.
From providing continuous funding for the Cancer Information Centre and Wig Service, helping patients and their families cope with the effects of treatment, to raising money for new developments such as the recently opened Teenage and Young Adult unit, your donations are having a positive impact every single day.

At Baguley Athletic, we started a long term project in 2013 to become the leading community club in Wythenshawe. We want to be able to offer everyone the chance to play or get involved in football without any boundaries.
Expenses in grassroots sports has increased significantly with many clubs forced to fold due to lack of funding. The money we raise goes straight into being able to provide the community of Wythenshawe a safe and fun place to enjoy the game of football and to feel they are part of something.
