Food poverty in Banbridge is in many ways a hidden issue. Nobody wants to advertise the fact they are struggling to put food on their family table or to give their children fresh fruit and vegetables. The reality is this is happening and it is an increasing problem. Our volunteers simply have a desire to meet the needs of those affected by food poverty. In the past year food parcels we have given out have directly impacted almost 600 local people, from new born babies to pensioners. Please help us raise additional funds by sponsoring our teams in this year's Belfast Marathon and Relay Event. At present we have 8 relay teams and 4 individuals doing the full marathon.
