They are trying to unite the people of Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Not only that, but they are here to inform our community of issues, advice, and services that are available in the borough. They promote businesses, they promote charities, they promote venues and keep people in touch with things that are happening in Barnsley, even though they will have left many years ago. They are small in numbers, currently only 4 of them, all unpaid and giving time to promote a town they are very proud of. They have worked for over 3 years freely, but the tools are getting old and they need to update. They would not normally ask for relief, but they are now at the mercy of our members, which surprisingly number over 20,000 currently. They do not want massive amounts of cash, they just are asking for anything we can provide. They have an idea, a vision, a dream that one day, all community sites will be able to function with very minimal costs. 3 years they have funding it, out of our own pocket and now, they ask if you, the community can help them go forward with the dream(s).
