💓 💓 💓 I ONLY WENT AND DID IT!!!!!!! 💓 💓 💓

I trained harder than I've ever trained, I sweated and felt sicker through exercise than ever before in my life, I put more into it that I've ever put anything into anything and I did it!! That night was one of the best of my life, I can honestly say I made some amazing friends during training and knowing a lot of them were doing it to support my sister made them even more like family! Getting in that ring takes so much courage no matter how the fight works out and I felt exactly the same being a Ring Girl. I may not have been the most professional but sod it, I did it for Jody and that's all that matters.

There isn't anything I wouldn't do for this girl and that now includes standing on stage in front of 400 odd people in my home town, wearing next to nothing and doing it confidently and with passion!!

Bass Therapy - the latest instalment - Home Girl to Ring Girl

I am currently undertaking the hardest and most intense challenge of my life! .

From 1st January 2017 - 1st January 2018 I lost 50lbs which was amazing however I still didn't "feel" 50lbs lighter or any different about myself. So I needed a new challenge, something to get my teeth into after smashing last years challenge of loosing some weight.

So, on the 9th March 2018 I shall be entering the boxing ring as a Ring Girl at For Honour and Pride having undertaken the exact same 8 week training programme the Boxers will have been given, just instead of fighting it out with a competitor, I shall be fighting it out with my inner fat girl and doing what I think will be the bravest thing I have ever done! https://www.facebook.com/events/339780439822060

We are raising money for my beautiful and incredibly strong-willed sister, Jody, who suffers from CHARGE syndrome.

She loves music, especially festivals, however due to her disabilities, without a specially converted and adapted camper van, staying away from home is near on impossible for her as part of her conditions means she requires over night oxygen and ventilation and a special bed as well as making life in general very complicated for her.

For the last 8 years, my boyfriend and I have been lucky enough to take Jody to WOMAD, Wilderness and even Glastonbury festivals with the charity Festival Spirit. However, last year, when they were unable to accommodate us, we realised it's time that she had the independence and freedom she deserves to attend as many festivals and gigs all over the country so we started to think about having her own camper van - however it will need to be very specific!

We have so far raised £4000 thanks to some very amazing people and have been lucky enough to purchase a bus to convert, that's right, she is going to have her own bus!!
