Shaan needs a bathroom with wheelchair access, a specialist toilet and a wheel-in shower ASAP, but we can’t get help from the authorities so long as Shaan is working! Shaan loves what he does and wants to keep working, so we need your help to get him the bathroom he needs.

Not content to sit back and watch from the side-lines, Shaan will be participating in the fundraising himself by doing a 5k ‘run’ through Hyde Park in his zoomy green wheelchair on 11 August!

Many dear friends will be helping us with all sorts of fundraising activities – from joining Shaan, to skipping for Shaan's loo, cutting hair, walking the Thames and swimming across a Swiss lake – in order to help us reach our target and we are so grateful for the support!

Shaan was diagnosed with ALS, a type of motor neurone disease that gradually leads to all the muscles stopping working, just after our son turned one. He’s fighting hard and doing an amazing job of keeping upbeat and keeping up with his work as an economist. Please help him to keep this up with a bathroom that gives him the dignity he deserves.
