Weʼve raised £400 to buy a sensor for Beatrice to help monitor her Diabetes.

Story
Beatrice was diagnosed with diabetes 7 weeks ago. She is doing amazing, doing all her injections herself upto 6 times a day. That's over 1800 a year!
As well as this she is pricking her finger to test her sugar levels up to 8 times a day.
The sensor that I want to get her is placed in her arm every 2 weeks which is then scanned like in the shops and will give her a reading of her blood.
This could help her see patterns when her blood levels drop. When this happens she starts to shake, feels sick and causes her anxiety. The effects of this can then last 24 hours and make you feel really rough and you just want to sleep!! Not good for a 12 year old in school!
