Up until a few weeks ago Sarah, Chris and 19 month old Jack were living a normal life in Doncaster.

Their whole life was turned upside down when Jack became unwell and Sarah and Chris took him to the hospital. Jack was referred to Leeds General Hospital on 18th April 2018 and Sarah and Chris were told that Jack has a heart condition called Dilated Cardiomyopathy which is a disease of the heart muscles where the left side of the heart becomes thin and stretched and causes heart failure.

Sarah and Chris have remained at Jacks side for the past few weeks praying for their son at a time which can only be described as any parents worst nightmare.

Jack has just come off a ventilator and is waiting to be transferred to Newcastle or Great Ormond Street in London, depending on where a bed becomes available first.

Sarah and Chris have been told that Jack may need a heart transplant, and his road to recovery will be difficult and prolonged. Due to the severity of Jacks illness Sarah and Chris have been unable to attend their workplaces, this fund will help cover any costs and financial pressures while they remain by Jacks side.
