Henrys Story;

Henry is a charismatic, funny seven year old little boy with a heart of gold (and a right foot to die for for his football team he plays for!)

Henry wanted to help support me (his mum) in her new job she is absolutely loving as a Carer for Windmill House in Wymondham.

He has never spent this amount of time away from me before and couldn’t understand why mummy couldn’t take him to school, pick him up, maybe miss an occasional football match of his or not home to put him to bed.

When I explained to him the importance of what not only me but every single staff member at Windmill House does on a daily basis to help our wonderful residents Henry being Henry wanted to help.

Windmill House has been wanting to update their sensory areas and themed areas around the home - these pivotal areas help soothe, settle, and sometimes even return memories for some along with creating new for others. Due to Covid we have been unable to run fundraising events in order to do this.

Enter Henry - his small act of kindness is to read bedtime stories LIVE at 6:30pm every evening - he’s such an advanced reader these stories will vary to suit many tastes. In each video there will be a link to donate if anyone wants to to Henrys very special cause. We are hoping Covid permitting he will be allowed to visit so he can see for himself the difference he has made.
