As you may know the 24th World Scout Jamboree 2019 will take place from 22nd July to 2nd August 2019 at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia and is being run as a team effort by the Scout organisations in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. It is an educational event that brings together the world’s young people. For 10 days, young people work together to find out about each other’s’ cultures and faiths, learn new skills, take part in adventurous activities and grow as global citizens to tackle some of the biggest issues facing the world today.

Sam has undergone a rigorous selection process to win a place as part of the UK contingent that will go to West Virginia. To fund this event he must raise £3550 each to cover the costs of the trip, equipment needed and to assist poorper countries to get their Scouts there.

We are asking you to sponsor him on an epic 50 mile bike ride acorss Warwickshire on 24th June 2019 with other Scouts and Explorers across Warwickshire to help him towards this total. Sam hasn't been on his bike for 2 years and he has grown alot since he was last on it. He is too big for it so he is having a go at using his Dad's road bike. He has been training to be able to complete the 50 miles but already he has said it is going to be difficult. Please sponsor his efforts in trying to achieve his goal.
