My Mum was cared for in St Johns hospice and I cant begin to describe the amazing work the doctors, nurses and volunteers do. They provide an upbeat environment where people can actually enjoy their last days in a warm caring place with dignity surrounded by people who truly care and have an understanding of what they are going through. They are able to provide support and reassure the relatives through a very distressing time in their lives. For this reason I have decided to run the Liverpool Tunnel Race on 1st October to raise money for this amazing place that needs £3.5 million a year to keep going.
