I'm going to be volunteering at Zhodino Orphanage for 10 days in
July. I'll be working with the Leaves of Hope for Belarusian Children Charity.

I'll be helping to run a play scheme for children living in the orphanage. We'll be providing a range of activities to work on their fine motor skills and social skills and just as importantly will be giving them some fun and individual attention.

I have to raise £750 in total and I have managed to raise £130 so far. The money I raise will cover travel, basic hostel accommodation, meals and the items we need to run the play scheme. Any extra money will be used to buy simple items such as fruit for the orphanage children.

I know it is going to be challenging and hard at times but I think it will be so rewarding if I can make a positive difference to the lives of those children.
