Our good friend Ben Morling has suffered a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain after falling whilst on holiday in The Algarve in Portugal.

He was taken to hospital initially but wasn't checked for any head traumas. 48 hours after leaving hospital he was seen as an emergency by a private doctor at Vale Do Lobo medical centre and was rushed to Faro Gambelas private hospital for a CT scan and treatment. He was kept in overnight and has improved and is now stable enough to be transferred to a state hospital to undergo surgery.

Luckily he is now stable and being overseen in hospital with his parents by his side; unfortunately he did not have travel insurance, and already the bills for his private care have increased each day.

We're looking to raise as much as possible to cover the cost of Ben's care and to eventually get him back home as soon as he is fit enough to fly., or be driven home.
