I'm fasting from food for the month of Ramadan, raising money for Darwen Asylum Seeker & Refugee Enterprise. After starting work with the group over three years ago it was evident how important the group was for vulnerable individuals new to Darwen, providing them with a community in which they can spend time together, a place to eat, English lessons, committed volunteers passionate to help & support, and so much more. Its my third year fasting now as I know how important this group for individuals during times of adversity.
