In early February 2019 I’m going to be travelling to the remote village of Takoradi in Ghana to spend three weeks volunteering in local hospitals with ‘Work the World’ as part of my elective placement towards my adult nursing degree.

My time in ghana will be spent helping and supporting communities who unfortunately do not have the NHS at their finger tips like we have.

I am going to be on placement in local hospitals helping to provide healthcare around the clock to those less fortunate than us and donating medical supplies to their limited stock.

I’m working around the clock to try to fund as much as i can myself, however as im sure you are aware, taking part in a nursing degree leaves very little time due to working around placements and uni. Because of this im going to be doing some fundraising over the summer and any donations would be greatly appreciated!!
