Weʼre raising £600 to Help Northwich Rowing Club with the developments of their new boathouse
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Northwich Rowing Club has been my second home for the past 5 years. I learnt to row in 2014 at Northwich, where they had huge success rates from very little funding, equipement, space and resources. Northwich Rowing Club became my family, my home and my safe place, leading me and many others to compete for Great Britain, and now attend University with the aim to follow rowing focused careers. The ongoing constant volunteering, support, friendliness, and committment I have personally recieved from this club is something i will always cherish, and now its my turn to give back whatever i possibly can back to them. Northwich RC has recently knocked down their 140th old boathouse, which has seen World and Olympic Medalists train in and out of. The new build is up and in use and looking amazing!! however there are things that still need to be done. Changing rooms, showers, storage and equipment still need to be finished and purchased, however the fundraising money bank is needing some extra help.
I will be running the Great Aberdeen Half Marathon on the 25th August 2019 for Northwich Rowing club, to help them continue with their developing journey of the new boathouse, providing security, safety, and friendly adaptable environments to train in, all leading to more and more success!
Please sponsor me on this half marathon to give every last little penny i can to this amazing club!!
