I am 16 and am going on a two week expedition to Nicaragua in Central America. While we are there we will spend a few days treking in the mountains and then spend about 10 days in an impoverished local community. While we are there we will be building resources like water purifiers, sanitary toilets as well as aiding in teaching primary (elementary) school children and improving their school surroundings with brightening up classrooms, making toys and making learning resources. The rest of the time we are there will be spent in the community with the local people and learning about their culture.
