Our friend Isatou drowned in tragic circumstances while visiting family in the Gambia. Isatou tried to rescue two of her younger cousins who had got into difficulties while swimming in the sea. Isatou managed to save one cousin but sadly drowned with her younger cousin Dauda on July 12th (not in this picture). We would like to do something in Isatou's and Dauda's memory. Isatou loved the children in the Gambia. She had made plans to support the local primary school her cousins attended in her father's home town of Tujereng.The school is in desperate need of basic things such as books, tables and chairs, kitchen equipment etc. If you would like to help, please click on the just giving link and please share this post if you can. Isatou ertrank auf tragische Weise waehrend ihres Urlaubs in Gambia. Sie versuchte zwei ihrer juengeren Cousins zu retten, die im Meer in Schwierigkeiten geraten waren. Leider konnte sie nur einen Cousin retten und ertrank mit ihrem 10jaehrigen Cousin Dauda. Isatou hatte Plaene, die Grundschule ihrer Cousins zu unterstuetzen. Wir wuerden das jetzt gerne in ihrem Namen tun, denn die Schule braucht dringend Buecher, Tische und Stuehle, Schreibmaterialien und Toepfe.
