    Story

Wow wow, really good news, after speaking to a new vets,he his willing to do lotties operation and all her after care for £1500,so there is hope that lottie will keep her leg.cant thank the storrars vets practice in boughton enough, and lots of licks from lottie.Lottie's story - my 8 year old son's dog, Lottie was out on her morning walk with her friends, happily chasing squirrels when she tripped and fell over a tree root.

She lay crying with her paw in the air and at first knowing Lottie to be a drama queen I thought she had just twisted her leg. A trip to the vets proved me to be wrong .......

Poor Lottie isn't a drama queen after all but is a very brave girl! She has severely damaged her ligaments and tendons in her front leg which is also broken at the ankle/wrist. The vet has given two options being:-

    a) An investigation and operation on ligaments and tendons on leg (pancarpal artrodesis) this is a cost of £4,500 for the initial treatment

    b) An amputation of her leg if funds are not raised.

Lottie is a healthy, four year old, active, loving family dog. We are devastated that this has happened through no fault of her own, just mine as I didn't renew her insurance and this has cost us dearly.

Lottie is important to us and we want her back to be normal, happy and healthy.

Currently the bill stands at £469 and risung due to twice weekly visits to the vets to have dressing and pain killers which means increasing cost each visits and this is going to

    take up to 6 weeks.

I am creating this just giving page as my last hope to raise the funding for her operation and to save her leg. I have approached the vets for to pay monthly, the will not accept this and approached the PDSA and I don't live in the right catchment area.

Many thanks from Lottie, Finnigan and Beverley.
