Story
BFK is a not for profit organisation, all funds that the club raise goes back into the pot to help provide equipment and opportunities for its members.
Kickboxing provides a great outlet for both adults and kids, some enjoy just training, others wish to compete. Either way the sport can have a massive impact on those involved.
Competition kickboxing can be expensive, equipment, travel and entry fees soon mount up.
We firmly believe that the sport should be fully inclusive for all, not just for those children, who have parents that can afford it.
With this in mind we want to create a competition fight team, with equipment loaned to the students by the club, giving those children that possibly cant afford it and opportunity to persue success in their sport.
Fight equipment costs approximately £150, entry fees are around £20, then there is travel etc too.
One of the key messages that the club reinforces, is that you have to work hard for every opportunity, therefore we are not simply going to ask for money.
On 16th September 2017, the club will undertake the challenge of 50x2 minute rounds of sparring.
To those who dont know this is particularly demanding, but a challenge that we will rise to.
One of the messages we reinforce at classes is that you have to pay the price for success in advance and in full.
This challenge will give the kids the opportunity to do just that.

Steve, you and the team are doing great things for the kids. I've seen the difference you've made first hand. I'm proud that Reece is part of such an amazing team. Good luck to everyone
